Sizes and Widths

Why does each brand use its own sizing method?
Wouldn't life be easier if there were one standard sizing system for all brands? Unfortunately, each brand uses one or more of the standard sizing systems: US sizing, European sizing or UK sizing. In order to remain consistent with what you might have seen elsewhere and what you will see on the shoe box when you receive your order, we list the sizes for each style as the manufacturer does in their catalogs.
There are also different width systems. Some brands use "M" to denote medium width, while others might use "B" (women's) or "D" (men's) to donote medium. Check our Width Conversion Chart for a full width equivalency table.

There are three main sizing systems seen on Onlineshoes.com: US, British and European. The following tables show the equivalent British and European sizes for each US size.

Socks Sizing

All women's socks are either sock size 8 -11 or 9-11 which fits shoe size 5-9 1/2.
All men's socks are sock size 10-13, which fits shoe size 8 1/2 - 12.
Children socks are as follows:
Age 0-18 months - sock size 3-4, which fits shoe size 1-5.
Age 2-4 years - sock size 5-6-1/2, which fits shoe size 5-10.
Age 5-8 years - sock size 7-8-1/2, which fits shoe size 11-3.
